EURO 2024 is history – time for Europe’s champions at the German Football Museum!
In Motion – Art & Football – the immersive special exhibition brings 175 works of art by great European champions into a multifaceted media space and uses film and photography to create unique worlds of experience.
In Motion – Art & Football is a walk-in artistic synthesis. Seemingly incompatible worlds meet and interpenetrate in a way that has never been seen before. Football has inspired the artists. And art opens up new perspectives on the sport.
Works of art from national and international collections can be experienced, including rarely shown works by Banksy, René Magritte, Paul Klee, Nicolas de Staël, Friedensreich Hundertwasser, L. S. Lowry, Robert Delaunay, Salvador Dalí, Joan Miró and Umberto Boccioni.
23 projectors, 110 spotlights and a three-dimensional sound system interact with large-format projection surfaces and mirrors to create an experience that appeals to all the senses.
